Native Plant Pond

" The Frog Pond"

There are two ponds on the farm, a large "fishing" pond and a small "water hole" we named The Frog Pond.  Originally encouraged to remove this pond, we took it as a special challenge to turn it into a focal point of our landscape and in the process are enjoying learning about Kentucky's native plants and wildlife.  Of course no good garden would be complete without the company of a few good dogs and cats.   They recently enjoyed helping us add some beautiful solar garden lights.
