Aria, T-Bone and Handy
Handy, pictured above, is a 26 year old American Saddlebred gelding. He's been a great partner since I got him as a two year old, taking me all over this part of the country as a competitive driving horse and bringing home the trophies. He is now retired and enjoys taking it easy and occasionally a relaxing carriage drive.
Hickory is the new kid on the block. He's a 14 year old Quarter Horse gelding who's evented through Training Level and is going to be really bored packing me through Beginner Novice. He could probably be talked into pulling a carriage too.
T-Bone is a 11 year old saddlebred. He's perfectly matched to Handy and is the farm clown. If he'd just stay out of trouble, we'd all be happy.
Gato is a 11 year old black and white Paint. He's cute as a bug and we think he'll make a nice "cow pony". He rivals T-Bone as the farm "dork".
Aria was the grand old lady of the
farm. She was a wonderful show horse
in her day and also a beautiful pleasure driving mare. We
lost her in the summer of 2011. She was 28.
