Cards and Notepads

When we bought our farm in 2003, we quickly acquired several new animals.  That year for Christmas we decided to design a card that reflected our new family and add a diagram on the back to introduce them to everyone.  Never dreaming that anyone would want to purchase them, we were shocked when a local gallery called to place an order.  Even more surprising was the questions of what our design would be for the next year.  Huh?  Next year?  Uh oh.

Luckily we have really enjoyed coming up with each new design.  Of course we have lots of input from the cast of characters including "the neighbor kid" who showed up in the first card just because I couldn't stand having 3 names on one side of the diagram and 4 on the other.

There are 10 5"x7" cards and envelopes in each box.  $9.50

All Creatures Great and Small - a blank note card originally designed for one of our vets. vet card.jpg (431445 bytes)
Blessings - Introducing T-Bone, Iris, Heidi, Henri, Peabody, Eli and the "neighbor kid".  Little did we know what we'd started. 2004 CC Front.jpg (288816 bytes) 2004 CC Back.jpg (163823 bytes)
Deck the Stalls - Well, we had so much fun with the first year, everyone decided to do another one.  This year Aria wanted to play too and we had two new kitties, Brushy and Claire Bear and also Popcorn PeePee Pants.  The neighbor kid's in there too. 2005 CC Front.jpg (316555 bytes) 2005 CC Back.jpg (274285 bytes)
Baa-la-la-la-la - Back for more and this time to do a little caroling.  Iris was, of course, the choir director.  Miss Tilly (aka Weaslie) is mostly just barking...a lot.  The neighbor kid is back and brought his girlfriend and T-Bone is in trouble, as usual. 2006 CC Front.jpg (242695 bytes) 2006 CC Back.jpg (224846 bytes)
Angels Among Us - This was a tough card to do as we weren't sure how things were going to turn out.  T-Bone had been battling a bad foot problem and it was touch and go for awhile. I finally realized that even if the worst happened, like our other beloved friends who had passed, he'd always be an angel among us. 2007 Christmas Card Front.jpg (261431 bytes) 2007 Christmas Card Back.jpg (222428 bytes)
Six Sheep A-Skating - Join the sheep for a fast game of "crack the whip".  Woolliam has his mittens on a string, Petunia has taken a spill, but little Sunshine is hanging in just fine with the big kids.  The kitties are watching from atop the beehive, Miss Ewenice is keeping tabs on her boys from the sidelines and Iris and Weaslie have lost control once again. 2008 CC Front.jpg (324141 bytes) 2008 CC Back.jpg (195938 bytes)

The original Punkin's Patch holiday cards - Punkin himself gazing up at the stars, 6 sheep of different "nations" coming together to pull Santa's sleigh after 911 and Punkin again, this time tobogganing - or as we like to think of it P.Bogganning.

10 5"x7" cards and envelopes per box  $9.50
