Baby Beverly

Beverly is a Leicester Longwool lamb
who's mother was quite old and blind and needed some help taking care of
him. He was the result of an accidental breeding and was a surprise.
Luckily a great guardian dog, Beverly, stepped in and adopted the little lamb
until his shepherds got home. |

He clocked about 10 minutes "work" throughout the afternoon and over three hours sleeping.

The end of a big day. |
Sad post script - We are not sure
why, but Beverly passed away just after his one month birthday. He
was the sweetest little lamb and so missed by me and everyone else who
knew him. A friend wrote this note:
The best little lamb ever. |
